This is the original image I chose to use on Adobe Illustrator CS6. I outlined the image using layers and naming them to create the first colured image, the second greyscale image and the third black and white image.

For this CyberARTS project we took photos in the school garden. We chose some of the pictures that stood out to us and edited them on Adobe Photoshop CS6. I chose to edit and post these photos because of the colours, brightness and shading and also the textured look and high quality of the photos.

I chose this picture of the garden because of the vibrant greens in the leaves and the brightness at the top of the picture. I thought that the vibrant greens made this picture stand out because it catches your eye when you first see it more then the other pictures. I also chose this picture because of the bright lighting at the top. The bright lighting stood out to me because it made the greens and other colours like the brown and yellow stand out more as well. That is why I chose to edited and post this picture of the garden.

I chose to edit and and post this picture because of the texture in the vibrant flower and also the focus used on the camera which makes the picture look more textured. The colours in this picture also stood out to me because the yellow flower in the background is so different from the rest of the photo. The dark red wall in the background matches the flower in focus and also the blooming flowers beside it. That's why I chose to edit and post this picture.

I chose to edit and post this photo of a sunflower in the garden because the bright yellow against the green stood out to me. In Adobe Photoshop CS6 I chose to brighten the green in the leaves because it makes the picture catch your eye more when you see it. I also liked the texture shown in the leaves and the petals of the flower because it makes the picture feel 3D. That's why I chose to edit and post this picture.

"The Third Class Carriage"

The Imitationalism and Literal Qualities of The Third Class Carriage compared to the imitation that I've made of the picture have many differences but of course are still the same. Some of the differences that I've made are some of the contour lines, reference markers and values being different by either being darker or being lighter and also the black and white has changed the feel and texture of the picture. The feel of the picture has changed because the picture feels sadder and the people in it look more sad than they did before it was black and white. The texture of the picture has changed because of the darker shading. Also the original picture has more of an old feel to it because of the old copper tones and lighter shading while the black and white gives more of a modern feel to it. The pictures have similarities because the people are still the same in it and the shading has been changed to lighter and darker tones but the places where it was lighter it's still lighter and the places where it was darker it's still darker.

There are a lot of Formalism and Design Qualities of the original compared to the edited version of the picture I've made that are different for example the shades, tones, texture, shape, contrast, value, space and line are all some what different. The shading is different in the original because of the older looking copper tones used compared to the black and white, darker and more modern looking edited version I've made.

The Emotionalism and the Expressive Qualities in the original are different from the edited version i've made because the picture looks older in the original because of the copper tones and dusty look which make me feel like the picture is older and not modern at all, but the edited version is black and white which makes me feel that the people look sadder in it but it also adds more of a modern feel at the same time.

That is why I feel that the Imitationslism, Literal Qualities, Formalism, Design Qualities, Emotionalism and the Expressive Qualities of the original picture and the edited version of The Third Class Carriage that I've made are different in some of the elements of design and make the pictures feel different.
